In Memorium: Joan Horner
UPDATE 1: Wow... I didn't realize that this post would generate so much traffic. Thank you so much for visiting my site and thank you for your comments. Joan will be missed. My wife was up late watching TV when the email came in around 12:30am EST. She could barely believe it and came upstairs to wake me up and tell me. I'm not sure what else can be said about her other than that she was a wonderful, Godly, loving, and humble servant to all she met.
Update 2: Please note - I'm a jeweler (D1) and while I have met the Horners on quite a few occasions, I am not related to them in any way. This website is in no way affiliated or endorsed by Premier Designs and all content on the site is my personal opinion. I encourage you to leave comments but please know that none of the Horner family will likely see them.
Joan Horner passed away yesterday. As the co-founder of Premier Designs, she has touched so many lives one couldn't even begin to count. She will be missed by many people.
If you knew Joan, pleaseĀ considerĀ a donation to the Horner-Premier Foundation.

Dearest Andy and family,
I got the sad news today from Diane, who is at Haven of Hope. I want you to know how blessed Diane and I are to have known The “Queen Mother”. Joan was such an inspiration to so many people. Our prayers of comfort are with you and your family. May God bless you and hold you in his arms until you see her again.

Mrs. Horner was a beautiful sistr in Christ. I was blessed enough to work at the home office and will always treasure my time with the Horners. She led by example and would tell us concerning our sorrows “to count it all joy.” I know the Lord has welcomed her home today! Much love to her family and Mr. Horner.

I pray that you continue to find comfort in the Lord during this difficult time. Heaven has gained such a beautiful soul, and those of us who were blessed enough to either have known her personally or have heard her speak will always remember how beautiful she was inside and out. She left a wonderful legacy for us to reflect on and apply to our own Premier businesses. May we all learn from her and we will certainly never forget her. All of our love to the Horner family.

…there are not words enough… we are blessed to have her cross our paths in this lifetime and teach us the path of a true servant. God has blessed us and blesses us still…

I am a new jeweler and I felt especially saddened yesterday when I heard the news about Joan Horner. I didn’t attend rally this year because I had just joined Premier in April and didn’t really plan to go. I have been blessed by just reading her devotionals each day in my work station. She permeated a peaceful character when she spoke and when she wrote. She gave me inspiration and Godly assurance each day as I lead others by giving them the same Gdly assurance and inspiration. She will be greatly missed not only by her family but by her Premier family. I will be praying for peace and wisdom as they continue to lead Premier Designs. I wish the family God’s embrace during this especially difficult time. May the Lord bless you and keep you and shine his face upon you!

I am a former Jeweler and was blessed to have had dinner with Joan and Andy in their home upon winning one of the wonderful contests Premier offers. She was a wonderful women of God who truley left a rich legacy of the love of Jesus Christ to those that encountered her. May the Holy Spirit give comfort to the Horner family as well as the Premier family.
